So, Soldiers of the Wasteland goes up on the Newgrounds Audio Portal and i'm eargly awaiting what is to happen. Mainly because my scores range from a 4.25 to 4.50 out of 5 (Very high).

Hopefully it won't get spammed by the 1'ers and the 0'ers like before. Fucking Retards.

Anyway, heres what I wrote on the Soldiers of the Wasteland Commentary:

The song set in the land long ago forever in our souls, Soldiers of the Wasteland. This song was so long that when I came to eventually compile it, it was too big for Newgrounds. It came to a whopping 9.7MB, which meant about 2 minutes of the song ended up getting chopped just to bring it down to the 8MB limit. Maybe I should write a petition so I can upload the full 10:25 9.7MB Epic (longer than the original CD version), instead of this shortened 8:33.

Eitherway, this is the one i'm allowed onto newgrounds, so I'm going to post a link here to my new blog (at the bottom) which has the download link to the full version of the song. I know that you have to click twice but I don't wanna get punished for directly linking to Rapidshare.

I guess I should write about the song now. When I saw Dragonforce live in London about a year ago this was one of the last songs of their set and they bought the house down with this song. It really got me into it and I always wanted to remix this song. What did put me off was becuase of the length (read up if you didn't already get this) and how much I might have to chop off. I'd rather release full songs first then release a chopped up one.

This song sees the Brass and Clarinets now a much more background sound compared to how they were pretty foreground in Valley of the Damned. I felt this song really suited the pianos but needed the other instruments to support, especially in the bridge which is probably my favourite part to this song. All in all I think this came out rather well, considering I had to ignore some of the guitar parts when converting them because they drowned out the vocal piano.

Anyway, onto my day:

Last nights CSS gaming took a toll on my sleeping pattern and therefore my subconcious decided to ignore my Alarm (I need a Subconcious Alarm!). However I wasn't at college long today due to feeling light headed and Nauseous and upon coming home eventually the nausea beat me.

I felt better afterwards. (???!?)

So, this afternoon I watched Family Guy. As you do and remastered the song that I released not too long ago. Eitherway it wasn't a very productive day.

So tomorrow I have college for a couple hours. Actually, triplicate the Couple and you'll get the exact figure. Then I plan on sitting down and starting on Black Winter Night for my next Newgrounds Submission... depending on how much college work I have to do. End of the Bloody Year. They leave us to do a bucket load of assignments in the last week. They've had all bloody year to issue them. The first 4 months we spent sitting around watching this Pratting Powerpoint presentations by a man who can only be described as a Man mixed with a Rat.

To be Honest, I thought it was going to be Wilson who was the one that was going to be diagnosed ill. Reading wikipedia before the episode is broadcast is generally a bad idea and frowned upon by your friends when you scream spoilers down emails at them. *giggle*.

I should probably stop writing now as i'm avoiding going to sleep, which is a thing being frowned upon by everyone at the moment.

So, I don't know how to start a blog, never done one before, and depends on how this turns out i'll probably never do one again. Now is probably your best chance to find out about me, what I do daily, what I hate and what im feeling.

So, today I do the same daily routine I do on the internet. Check CAD, Questionable Content, xkcd, LFG and VG Cats (mainly to see if he ever does update...). Then I check the Newgrounds Audio Portal and my Audio Submissions and find that arsehole has downvoted me. I hate it when people do that. They just downvote you. Because they can. I mean if you're gonna downvote randomly just to piss people off at least do it on a site that is committed to downvoting and being a twat.

Eitherway, it's not gonna put me off releasing more of my songs. I have another one that i'm planning to release sometime tomorrow.

So what happens tomorrow: It's a College Day. That means playing Call of Duty when i'm crap at the game, probably on another map that pisses me off and with Matt wallhacking. Again.

Good News: New House Episode. And it better be better than the shit episode last week about House diagnosing a patient off the TV.

Anyway, for now i'm off to play Counter Strike with Tom and Andy. (There is a little in-joke going on at the moment. Andy claims not to know me... probably because I owned him hard on SSBM.)
